Research

I work in a wide range of substantive policy areas, including health policy, immigration, violence prevention, and counter-extremism.

My dissertation investigated the effects of family immigration status and local immigration enforcement intensity on Medicaid disenrollment among children in immigrant families.

Components included: developing novel measures of enforcement intensity and benefit provision, interviewing stakeholders, adapting a proxy measure of legal status, and modeling predictors of selected outcomes.
